PUBLIC NOTICE OF CANCELLATION OF NOVEMBER 21, 2023 TOWN OF INDEPENDENCE MUNICIPAL ELECTION

On October 11, 2023, the Independence Town Council passed Resolution 2023-03 as authorized by Utah Code § 20A-1-206(2) to cancel the municipal election that was to be held on November 21, 2023. The Resolution certified that Councilmembers Bonnie Wilson, Gary Ryan, and Tracy Sabey declared their candidacy for three (3) open Town Council seats, that they were unopposed, and were thereby declared elected to the three (3) Town Council seats that will be open in January 2024.
